2025 KYA Volleyball Registration is OPEN
2025 KYA Volleyball Dates
We are looking forward to another great season of KYA Volleyball! Here is the information for the 2025 season:
Registration
Registration Closes Friday August 15. Late registration WILL NOT be accepted. Please spread the word and register before August 15!
Observation Day
THERE WILL BE NO OBSERVATION THIS YEAR!! Teams will be formed after registration closes. Due to lack of numbers in 6th grade, they will all be practicing together and each Saturday will be on a different team and play the other team. We have enough for 2 teams at this point in time.
Practices
Practices begin the week of Aug. 25. All practices will be at the LA Thomas Gym in Kimberly. Each team will practice for one hour. Depending on which team your player is on, practice will be in the following time slots:
3rd grade:
4th grade:
5th grade:
6th grade:
Games
Saturday games at either LA Thomas Gym or Kimberly Middle School: Sept. and 6, 13, 20, 27. Tournament Oct. 4 at Kimberly High School. Depending on how many teams are formed in each grade level, game times will be as follows (game schedule will be out as soon as we form teams by the first of September):
3rd grade: LA Thomas Gym between 8-10 am
4th grade: LA Thomas Gym between 10-12
5th grade: Kimberly Middle School between 8-10 am
6th grade: Kimberly Middle School between 10-12
League Pictures
Pictures will be taken with the times included on the game schedule
3rd and 4th grade during games
5th and 6th grade during games
Stay informed
We will be using the remind app for our grade level coordinators to send out information during the season. Please be sure to register with your grade level. Don’t forget to include the “@” sign before each code when entering it on the Remind app:

Take care of equipment/facilities:
No balls allowed in foyers or outside. Please really help us enforce this rule. The school district is great to let us use their facilities, and they have asked that no balls at all are allowed to be played with in the foyers with all the glass around. Please watch for this at practices and before games and remind the kids. Also, if younger siblings are at practices and games, please remind them to not run through the halls in either building or get on the stage area at LAT.
